英国肯辛顿宫10日公开的凯特最新照片遭多家外媒下架，指控“过度编辑”、“被操纵”。
英国肯辛顿宫昨（10）日公开英国凯特王妃祝贺母亲节的照片，这是她1月接受腹部手术以来首度正式公开亮相，画面中的凯特坐在椅子上露出灿笑，3名孩子围绕身旁。不过包括美联社、路透社等各大主流外媒后续纷纷下架该张照片，指出凯特女儿、夏绿蒂公主的袖子没有正确排列，认为照片“过度编辑”、“被操纵”，不符合外媒的发布准则，因此收回。对此，肯辛顿宫并未回应。

综合美联社、路透社、美国“野兽日报”（Daily Beast）报导，肯辛顿宫（Kensington Palace）10日公开凯特的照片后，不到12小时，美联社、路透社、法新社、Getty Images等英国王室发布照片的四大重要途径后续先后发布紧急建议，宣布下架该照，美联社指出，“经过仔细检查，消息来源似乎以不符合美联社照片标准的方式操纵照片，照片显示夏绿蒂公主左手的排列并不一致”。
路透社则指出，该社图片编辑认为，夏绿蒂公主的开衫毛衣袖子“并未适当排列”，显示照片“被改动”。

路透社指出，主流照片通讯社“禁止发布被过度编辑的图片”，例如《路透社新闻手册》要求，编辑工具Photoshop只能在“非常有限的情况下”使用，包括用来安排版面、裁减、调整大小，以及平衡色调与颜色。
路透社更要求客户不要使用该照。在发布给客户的建议中，路透社表示正在删除该张照片，要求客户从系统中删除该照。美联社也对客户有同样要求。

目前英国王室经常发布新闻的英国联合社（PA Media）尚未下架该照，不过英国联合社指出，正在要求肯辛顿宫就此争议作出紧急澄清。
