一辆车有过total loss，怎么卖家还在开。。？ 

问大家一个很奇怪的问题，事情是这样子的。。 最近小弟我在找车，今天看了一辆车，他是1995年的Integra LS 4Doors, 16万公里左右，可惜的就是他是个rebuit的title,我试开过感觉满不错，有点go kart的feel哈哈(我沒有speeding哟，不过车子很轻，然后回显力满好的)。然后我就根据车子提供的VIN上ICBC的网址check一下，就那个20块钱的，我跟你们讲。。他超废的，千万别用。。骗钱。。Ok进入主题，我下面是我看到的report. 有一行写着。。total loss，然后又沒写修了多少钱，所以想问下大家这个情况是那个车把别人的车total loss掉。。。还是车主自己去付钱把车修好了？ 唉 最近看车真是看到心力交瘁了。。。如果这辆车不错的話应该过两天的交易了。谢谢大家。。。

total loss的概念是这样的： ICBC（或者其他保险机构）在裁定total loss后，陪你新车（或者其他赔偿方案），然后他们把车拿走去拍卖。很多二手车行都是在拍卖行买车然后修好后再卖出去的。 anyway，这车已经是rebuilt了，个人不建议买。

我刚刚再看了一次那些事故的日子，发现车子应该是被偷了，然后过两天找到的时候已经是……唉 total loss了 我看车子保养的還不错，就郁闷怎么椅子都被割烂了，anyways，我明天再问问车主，然后再跟大家汇报。。

但是你的截图上显示已经是rebuilt了，还是小心为妙。

不见得，只要是安全气囊弹出了也算是TOTAL LOSS，我朋友的08年的BMW325，过了个隔离带颠了一下，结果副驾驶安全气囊弹出来了哈哈，ICBC鉴定属TOTAL LOSS，BMW赔辆新车，当时买了个什么保险我不清楚，反正是BMW赔他辆328，他加了点钱直接上335了。。。。，白开了两年车挺过瘾的。

Based on the attached print screen. It seems like this car was totalled based on the collison accident on Mar 28, 2009 It was stolen again on Mar 26, 2010 To be honest, it does not worth money or energy to buy when you see the word "REBUILT"

at least it shows the title is rebuilt.... if the owner totaled his own vehicle and he buy it back from the auction, and then he rebuilt it. the car title will stay as clean.... even u cant check it has been total loss!!!

my 240 was a rebuild.. as long as its done properly.. i dun see any issue with it... i just see a big reason to asker the seller for a big decrease against market value versus other similar cars hehehe good luck OP.. just get the owner to drive to a mechanic you trust..and have the mechanic have a good check up..its worht the extra $80 for an hour inspection on a rebuilt title

The inspection is the essential before anyone purchase a second hand vehicle unless that person is a pro himself LOL

唉，谢谢大家的回复，我这个星期刚开学有点忙忘记来update大家了。 上次过了两天后车主说之前价格讲错了，要把价格抬上1000。。。后来就打消我念头了。。 小弟我看车都看了几个月了，从上1年这个时候就想买辆破车。。哎经过几个月的coop工作下来总算存到几千块，可是找1两理想的二手车实在非常困难。。加上资金又有限，经过数个月来日以继夜的寻寻觅觅，到头来还是公车代步。。哎！ 如果各位大虾知道有朋友卖车的话也可以告知小弟一下哈，我的目标也满广的(只是budget尽量越底越好。。这年头cash就是king嘛~哈)。。。主要是希望能找个好车好价格。。从dc2到4代maxima，到tsx。 谢谢大家了 ;)
