Nail Technician - part-time / call basis

$16 per hour

starting from mid November

Job brief

We are looking for a Nail Technician to join our team to provide our customers with personalized service and detailed skills.

Nail Technician responsibilities include performing manicure/pedicure treatment and basic nail art, cleaning and sanitizing tools and work station, and scheduling client appointments and accepting payments. To be successful in this role, you should complete Vocational program related to Nail Care and have previous experience as a Nail Technician. Moreover, the ability to work weekends is required.

Ultimately, you will provide us with professional skills of manicure and pedicure treatment and nail art.

Responsibilities

· Perform manicure and pedicure treatment

· Perform basic nail art

· Apply Acrylic and UV gel

· Clean and sanitize tools and work station after each customer

· Advise clients on nail care and use of products and colours

· Offer nail care treatment tips

· Schedule client appointments and accepts payments

· Promote nail services and products to customers

· Maintain safe work practices and hygiene standards

Requirements and skills

· Avalability to perform mobile services

· Minimum 1 year of work experience as a Nail Technician

· Completion of a Vocational program related to Nail Care

· Excellent knowledge of Mani/Pedi techniques with a willingness to adjust to our salon’s standards

· License related to Nail Care is an asset

· Basic English skills with effective communication and listening skills and writing skill

· Must be able to work weekends

· Ability to evaluate the condition of clients’ nails and advise on proper nail care and suitable treatments

· Friendly and excellent in customer service skill

· Motivated to learn and open to updating and upgrading technical skills with an ability to learn quickly

· Team player who is friendly and cooperative
