iPhone 3GS 越狱经历 

如果大家对电脑有兴趣，可以试试越狱。我的 3GS 被 iPhone 5 取代，正好从国内带来联通的 SIM 卡。

3GS 越狱后就可以用了。3GS 用联通，iPhone 5用加拿大的卡。

经验1：尽管我下面的经验是升级到最高版本，建议大家不要升。最高版本的越狱功能通常要迟些发布。

经验2：智能手机的短信可以被 APP 截取。如果是恶意的 APP，短信的密码（如网银）被转发到罪犯那里。

2014-2-24: use iTunes to restore to latest version 6.1.6.

(Removed all contents. In Recover mode.)

Hold Power 2 - 3 seconds, then, while holding Power, press Home for 10 seconds.

Then, release Power but still holding Home for another 15 seconds.

Recover Mode or DFU mode?

Download iOS 6.0 for 3GS;

Download redsn0w 0.9.15b3;

(My iPhone baseband 5.16.08.)

Step 1:

After opening redsn0w, Extras->select IPSW->select downloaded iOS 6.0->choose Newer Model->back->jailbreak->select both Cydia and iPad baseband (Upgrade to 6.15.xx).

Step 2: downgrade baseband to 5.13.04.

Same as step 1, except choose both Cydia and downgrade iPad baseband.

Step 3: tethered reboot. (if not, cannot open App Cydia.)

After opening redsn0w, Extras->select IPSW->Just boot.

After reboot, open Cydia, install:

(1) ultrasn0w: unlock SIM.

(2) p0sixspwn: to become untethered.

(3) bite SMS: to display Chinese SMS. License fee 7.99 to remove ads.

Use Skype to send SMS to China. 6.3c/sms.

Use own CHN number to receive sms: free of charge.
