In-depth answer: 深入话题；制造口语高分答案
上一章节我讲道用特征（feature）, 时间（time），地点(Place) ，人物(people)，比较(comparison)等方法扩展话题。这一章我们探讨如何就一个方法进行话题深入。例如下题：
What do you like about Chinese food?
答案的思路可以从Chinese food的特征（features）上着手：
Chinese food的特征如下：
首先美味delicious;
其次营养丰富nutritious;
第三美观pleasant to look at;
再次种类繁多a large variety to choose.
根据上述的思路，答案是：
Chinese food is delicious, nutritious, and pleasant to look at. Besides, there is a large variety to choose. 这个答案看似完善，但实际上每一个特征都没有深入下去，雅思口语考试测试的技能之一是description 简单的描述。这个答案虽然将每一个特征都罗列出来，但却没有对任何一个特征进行简单的描述，因此不够完美，是不能够令考官满意的答案。完善的答案应该对每一个特征深入描述一下：
—delicious美味 .---there are all kinds of the flavors catering to different tastes of people.（对美味的深入描述）
—nutritious营养丰富---Chinese food is featured with balanced nutrition. You can find vegetables, meat, fish and wheat on the dinner table of a typical Chinese family. （对营养的深入描述）
—pleasant to look at. 美观 For example, you can find a combination of different colors: red, green and brown in one dish. Sometimes, the chef even presents the food in the forms of flowers, animals or landscape pictures.(对美观的深入描述)
—a large variety to choose. 种类繁多There are Sichuan Cuisine, Cantonese Cuisine and Shanghai Cuisine. No matter if you like sweet, sour or spicy food, you can almost find all kinds of tastes in Chinese food. （对种类的深入描述）
因此高分答案可以从上述的特征任意搭配出来：
Chinese food is delicious, there are all kinds of flavors catering to different tastes of people. Besides, Chinese food is pleasant to look at. For example, you can find a combination of different colors: red, green and brown in one dish. Sometimes, the chef even presents the food in the forms of flowers, animals or landscape pictures. No wonder so many people like Chinese food.
或者：
