SFU President Michael Stevenson has confirmed the recommendation of the Department of Economics
regarding a case of academic dishonesty involving a student caught cheating by having asked someone
else to write a mid-term exam in an Econ undergraduate course last Fall. The recommendation was
a FD for the course and a six-semester suspension from the University.
Academic dishonesty will not be tolerated, so please value your university experience.
