买car seat之前的必读~~
最近在买car seat，真是做了很多的功课啊，因为car seat就是为了宝宝的安全才用，如果没有安全系数或者系数很低那还是不要用了。 下面是ICBC网站上的一些购买car seat的须知，一手的也好二手也好，一定要做足了research，不怕一万就怕万一啊~！ 宝宝可是咱们的precious cargo~@!
Child Seats: Is my car seat safe?
If you are considering purchasing a used child seat, are being given a used seat or are just wondering how safe the seat you already have is, go through our checklist below.
Do not place your child in an infant, convertible or booster seat if:
the harness straps are frayed or torn.
the padded liner is torn or detached from the seat.
there are any cracks in the plastic shell.
the tubular frame is bent or rusted at the rivet points.
the CMVSS label is not attached.
It does not meet all CMVSS standards.
the manufacturer's instructions are missing.
the tether strap is frayed, torn or missing (convertible seat only).
the tether anchorage hardware is missing or incomplete (convertible seat only).
the seat is more than 10 years old.
you are unsure of the child seat's history. Note that some crashes may damage a child seat. (Even damage from a serious crash may be hard to see.)
If the seat you are considering (or a seat you already have) meets any of these criteria it should not be used.
IMPORTANT
Check Transport Canada's recalls and public notices to see if there are any problems or safety defects that apply to the used seat you are considering.
总而言之就是，一定要查清楚之前这个car seat有没有过accident，如果有过的话，出了事故icbc查出来会罚你钱的；不能是美国的car seat；不能超出使用日期；感觉ICBC对car seat的安全性还是很严格的

上面这个Link是一个所有不合格产品或者出事故最高的产品的report
基本上所有的大牌子的car seat都榜上有名哦，Graco, Evenflo, Peg Perego...所以要查 出厂年份和型号，是不是自己买的car seat不在那些型号批号里面，如果在的话也没关系，及时给厂家打电话，他们会寄过来repair kit弥补问题，但如果问题没有弥补，出了事故的话ICBC一样会找茬的
