Job Summary:

We are seeking a passionate English Teacher to join our team. The ideal candidate will inspire and motivate students to develop their language skills and appreciation for literature.

Responsibilities:

- Develop and implement engaging lesson plans and teaching outlines that meet the course requirements
- Create a positive and inclusive learning environment for students
- Evaluate and grade students' classwork, assignments, and writings
- Provide constructive feedback to parents
- Maintain accurate records of students' progress and development
- Communicate effectively with students and colleagues
- Stay up-to-date with developments in the field of English education

Skills:

Required:
- Candidates must be studying in an English-speaking country for a bachelor's or higher level degree, or have already received a bachelor or a master's degree, specialized in English or Education is preferred- Proficiency in English language and literature, native speaker is preferred- Strong communication and interpersonal skills- Ability to adapt teaching methods to meet the needs of diverse learners. If the candidate was born, raised and educated in an English speaking country, college or university students are preferred.
Nice-to-have:
- Experience teaching English as a second language (ESL), teaching certification or license is preferred- Familiarity with educational technology tools- Advanced degree in English or related field. Join us in shaping young minds and fostering a love for the English language!

Job Types: Part-time, Casual, Seasonal, Internship / Co-op

Contract length: 6 months

Pay: $18.00-$25.00 per hour

Expected hours: 6 – 20 per week
