Requirements: 1. Financial Management: - Oversee day-to-day accounting operations (AP, AR, payroll, general ledger). - Prepare and analyze financial statements, ensuring compliance with standards. - Monitor cash flow, budget variances, and provide improvement recommendations. 2. Team Leadership: - Coordinate and delegate tasks for timely and accurate financial activities. 3. Compliance and Reporting: - Prepare and submit tax returns adhering to deadlines and accuracy. - Collaborate with external auditors during annual audits and tax filings. 4. Cost Analysis and Budgeting: - Track project costs, provide financial analysis for construction projects. - Develop and manage budgets, offer guidance on cost-saving measures. 5. Financial Planning and Forecasting: - Assist in developing financial plans and forecasts. - Identify financial risks/opportunities, communicate to senior management. 6. System and Process Improvement: - Assess and enhance accounting systems and processes for efficiency. - Implement best practices in financial management and accounting. 7. Facilitate Bank financing - Compile comprehensive financial documentation (project budgets, cost estimates). - Ensure accuracy, transparency, and compliance in financial documents. - Provide information during the bank's due diligence process. - Schedule meetings to discuss the construction project and present financial documentation.
**Qualifications:** - Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA designation preferred. - Minimum of 2 years managerial experience in the construction industry. - In-depth knowledge of accounting principles, regulations, and financial reporting. - Strong leadership, detail-oriented, and team management skills. - Proficient in QuickBooks and Microsoft Excel. - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. - Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic work environment.
