花圃/温室种植经理助理

We are looking for hardworking and passionate individuals in full-time capacity to ensure that our grounds are maintained and kept to a high standard for our guests and community. The position will work under the direction of the Manager, manage and cultivate various plants, flowers and shrubs that are on the site.

Hourly Wage:

$20-25 based on experience

Primary responsibilities:

- Responsible for creating and maintaining an overall planting plan

- Monitoring and caring for various plants, flowers, and shrubs

- Operate and maintain gardening equipment and tools

- Perform other related duties as assigned

- Training will be provided

Qualifications:

- Pesticide applicator certificate preferred

- Fluency in Mandarin an asset

- Knowledge and experience of ornamental horticulture is an asset

- Proven knowledge of planting, cultivating and care of a wide variety of plants, shrubs, trees and flowers; of methods, materials, tools and practices

- Possess knowledge of the hazards and proper safety precautions

- Comfortable working in all weather conditions: rain, snow, and sun
