About Baywest Robotics Inc: Baywest Robotics Inc is a leading technology company dedicated to innovation in the field of robotics. We are actively seeking a skilled and motivated Cloud Engineer with expertise in Ali Cloud to join our dynamic team at our Vancouver office.

Responsibilities:
• Advocate for the adoption of Ali Cloud technology within the organization.
• Develop, lead, and maintain Ali Cloud platform services to foster innovation across the organization.
• Guide initiatives from conceptualization through technical delivery, ensuring a commitment to quality.
• Provide escalation and production support, ensuring the reliability of cloud services.
• Deliver well-architected, highly available, and scalable infrastructure using best practices in code.
• Participate in planning and retrospective sessions.
• Lead technical workshops, presentations, and provide training to technical and non-technical teams.
• Identify and implement opportunities for efficiency and performance improvements through automation.
• Develop comprehensive technical and architectural documentation.
• Participate in an on-call rotation to provide after-hours support for critical workloads.
• Manage Ali Cloud administration and government access controls.
• Provide guidance on Terraform for building out OS levels and applying applications.

Skills and Qualifications:

• Bachelor of Computer Science

Mandatory:
• 5+ years of hands-on experience with Ali Cloud.
• Expertise in architecting and deploying distributed solutions in the cloud (IaaS, SaaS, PaaS).
• Strong background in designing, developing, and maintaining distributed systems.
• Experience with patching and CI/CD.

Preferred:
• Ali Cloud professional certification.
