工作职责：

审查损坏报告和修理成本估计，计划需要进行的工作。

替换前端部件，车身部件，门和车架以及底盘部件。

协助指导学徒，传授技能和经验。

修复车身表面，包括锉削，研磨和打磨。

使用木块和锤子修复凹痕，扭曲和缺陷。

Position: Auto Body Technician (Bodyman)

Local chain auto repair shops in Canada, spray painters, can learn on the job even without work experience. Graduation within two years, and there are English proficiency requirements. Salary is expected to reach 100,000 CAD per year after five years.

Job Responsibilities:

Review damage reports and cost estimates, planning the required work.

Replace front-end components, body parts, doors, frames, and chassis components.

Assist in mentoring apprentices, imparting skills and knowledge.

Repair vehicle body surfaces, including filing, grinding, and sanding.

Use blocks and hammers to fix dents, warps, and defects.

Remove damaged fenders, panels, and paint, bolting or welding replacement parts in place.

Repair or replace vehicle interior components.

Fix or replace damaged windows, windshields, and sunroofs.

Inspect repaired vehicles and test drive to ensure proper operation.

Use welding equipment or plastic fillers to patch holes, dents, and seams.

Use frame and chassis pulling and anchoring equipment to straighten bent frames.

Maintain cleanliness and upkeep of the workspace.

Display professionalism in customer service, ensuring customer satisfaction.

Requirements:

At least 3 years of experience in auto body repairs.

Familiarity with the repair processes of various vehicle brands and models.

Ability to complete tasks independently and collaborate with a team.

Relevant professional certifications are preferred.

Strong communication skills and a focus on customer service.
