Web Designer - Graphic Design Hiring

About the Team:

A technology company operates a classified advertisements website with sections devoted to jobs, housing, for sale, items wanted, professional services, discussion forum and etc. Our users are mainly from Metro Vancouver area and we have established our website to become our users' favorite day to day information acquire platform. We're looking for a Graphic Designer to execute our users communications strategy. You'll be responsible for producing content that matches the company's brand, aesthetic, and marketing strategy.

Here’s the kind of work you’ll get to do:

Design website graphics, banners, and other visual elements to enhance the online user experience.
Collaborate with VP, Marketing to optimize the guest journey on the site through clear and compelling design.
Collaborate with developers to ensure proper implementation of design elements
Eager to learn and provide design solutions based on Director’s feedback
Be aware of trends and new ideas within fashion, business and social, and be able to interpret those into fantastic creative in partnership with team and director.
Design and deliver digital and print materials that are consistent with company’s brand identity.
Work with coding team to make larger website changes and troubleshoot functionality issues.
Design high-quality, visually engaging assets including, but not limited to: digital advertising campaigns, email campaigns, web banners, social graphics and brochures.
What we’re looking for:

Proven work experience as a Web Designer or similar role, preferably in the communications industry or related fields.
Proficiency in HTML, CSS, SQL, and other relevant web design technologies - Strong knowledge of design tools such as Sketch, Figma, WordPress, Webflow, Zapier, Flutterflow, etc.
Strong portfolio showcasing a range of design projects across various mediums.
Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively within a team.
Attention to detail and a keen eye for visual aesthetics.
Flexibility to work within a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design or relevant degree
Comfort working with teammates and clients with various degrees of marketing experience
