We are currently seeking a highly skilled and motivated Accounting Manager with audit experience to join our team in Canada. The Accounting Manager will manage and oversee day-to-day accounting operations for the company, including budgeting, forecasting, financial reporting, compliance, and audit. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in finance and accounting, excellent analytical skills, experience in managing a team in multiple time zones, and a background in auditing.

This position is based in Richmond, BC, and candidates must have the legal right to work in Canada. e. The primary duties are:

Develop and maintain financial policies, procedures, and internal controls to ensure the accuracy and completeness of financial records.

Manage and oversee the monthly and annual consolidated financial reporting process, including balance sheet reconciliations, variance analysis, and financial statement preparation.

Develop and manage the annual budget and monthly forecasting process.

Ensure compliance with all applicable financial regulations and reporting requirements, including leading the annual audit process and working with external auditors.

Led the preparation of financial analysis and presentations to support business decision-making.

Manage and develop the finance team, including hiring, training, and mentoring staff.

Cross-border business travel may be required.

Perform other related duties as assigned by Directors.

Business travel to the US, so a US visa is a must!

f. Qualification and Skills requirement

Fluent in written and verbal English. Fluent Mandarin will be an asset.

Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or related field; CPA certification required.

3+ years of experience in finance and accounting, with at least three years in a leadership role.

Strong understanding of accounting principles, financial analysis, and financial reporting requirements

Experience with auditing, including leading the annual audit process and working with external auditors.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across departments.

Demonstrated experience in managing and developing a accounting team.

Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and experience with financial reporting software
