Seamax Marine is looking for an experienced, professional Business Development and Customer Service Manager to join our growing team at our head office in Surrey, BC.

Role Summary

This Role is responsible for the entire sales cycle and providing knowledgeable, technical, and helpful support to our dealers, wholesales, and end users. The role ensures that each touchpoint across the customer journey is engaging, efficient, and effective. We seek a growth-minded professional with the expertise to help us serve North America and support our continuous growth.

Responsibilities

Business Development Role

  • Accountable for sales planning, strategy development, and plan implementation
  • Identifying new business opportunities through cold calling, prospecting, and networking.
  • Leverage strong prospecting, account management, and closing skills, to achieve monthly, quarterly, and yearly KPI
  • Build and maintain dealership or wholesale relationships.
  • Visit dealerships or wholesales to maintain the level of performance in existing business relationships
  • Lead numerous new opportunities and business development activities to achieve desired sales results.
  • Complete and submit weekly sales activity reports
  • Attend and participate in trade shows

 

Customer Service Role

  • Implement and improve customer experience standards and processes based on company standards and customer feedback.
  • Prioritize customer issues and aid the experienced team in bringing them to a satisfactory and rapid resolution.
  • Maintain a high level of knowledge of Seamax products and services to ensure all Customers are provided with accurate information
  • Developing training programs for employees on how to deliver great customer service.

Requirements:

  • 3-5 years of B2B and/or B2C experience
  • A proven network and the ability to grow and scale businesses
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Effective presentation skills and delivery to engage with different audiences
  • Degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field
  • Exceptional computer skills
  • Marine background or marine product knowledge is an asset

Work Schedule:

Working Hours: Monday to Friday 9:00 am - 5:30 pm. (0.5-hour launch break).
