We are a well-established professional engineering consulting firm, and our professional engineers have experiences in structural design of a wide variety of buildings such as apartment buildings, townhouses, tilt-up buildings, commercial buildings, residential buildings, single-family house, and tenant improvements for over 30 years. We are currently growing our team and searching for an ambitious and self-motivated structural engineer. Qualifications:

• A Bachelor's Degree in Civil/ Structural Engineering

• EGBC registration is required

• Min. 3 years’ experience in structural engineering

• Familiar with all applicable building codes and design standards such as wood, steel,

concrete, steel stud, cold form steel, and aluminum

• Proficient with AutoCAD, Word, Excel, MathCAD and excellent general computer skills

• Knowledge of building construction

• Ability to work effectively independently or good attitude and team player

• Positive attitude and strong problem solving abilities

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English

• Possess a valid BC driver’s license

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Perform structural analysis and design for a variety of projects

• Preparation of structural consulting drawings and shop drawings for building permit

and construction

• Review shop drawings (prepared by clients)

• Attend site meetings and field reviews

• Provide structural engineering support during construction

• Coordination with general contractors and clients

• Responding to requests for information from site
