full-time admin Assistant

KSCI, Richmond, BC is currently looking to hire a dedicated, full-time admin Assistant. Experience for 1 years or more as Admin Assistant at some relevant position is required. We offer a salary of $23/hour with medical and dental benefits after the probation period. The ideal candidate will enjoy fast-paced, high-energy, challenging work in a dynamic environment. 

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Effectively communicating and team player
• Accurate data entry and verification of orders
• Follow-ups, corrections and adjustments of orders
• Provide general assistance for office
• Filing, sorting and organization of administrative tasks
• Other projects and assignments as assigned by management

REQUIREMENTS

• Must have at least 1 year of experience in an administrative/accounting role
• Must have highly proficient written and verbal communications skills in English 
• Must be self-directed, task and goal oriented
• Must have a high degree of attention to detail
• Must be able to take initiative, problem solve, use creativity and personal judgment
• Ability to work under pressure with strict deadlines
• Excellent people skills and the ability to adapt in a constantly changing environment
• Intermediate to advanced knowledge in Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook
• Must have a college degree
• Excellent communication skills in English both written and oral and ability to effectively communicate with vendors and co-workers at all levels of the organization
