Massage Therapist - part-time / call basis

$16 per hour

Job brief

We are looking for a Massage Therapist to join our team to provide our customers with personalized service and detailed skills.

Massage Therapist responsibilities include performing massage services, cleaning and sanitizing tools and work station, and scheduling client appointments and accepting payments. To be successful in this role, you should have massage therapy certificate and have previous experience as a Massage Therapist. Moreover, the ability to work weekends is required.

Ultimately, you will provide us with professional skills of massage treatment while ensuring proper hygiene and safety of both customers and staffs.

Responsibilities

· Perform massage services and body treatments

· Assess guest needs and inquire about contraindications before beginning service

· Clean and sanitize tools and work station after each customer

· Advise clients on body care and use of products

· Offer body care treatment tips

· Schedule client appointments and accepts payments

· Promote our services and products to customers

· Maintain safe work practices and hygiene standards

Requirements and skills

· Availability to perform mobile services

· Minimum 1 year of work experience as a Massage Therapist

· Must have massage therapy certificate

· Skills of Thai Massage and reflexology is an asset

· Excellent knowledge of massage techniques with a willingness to adjust to our spa’s standards

· Ability to evaluate the condition of clients’ skins and advise on proper body care and suitable treatments

· Basic English skills with effective communication and listening skills and writing skill

· Must be able to work weekends

· Friendly and excellent in customer service skill

· Motivated to learn and open to updating and upgrading technical skills with an ability to learn quickly

· Team player who is friendly and cooperative

· Attention to detail
