Noon Hour Supervision Aides 

Salary: $20.00/hour (+4.5% in lieu of benefits)
Hours: 1.5 hours per day  from 11:30 a.m. to 1:00 p.m – Monday to Friday.

In this role, you will be responsible for supervising students during lunch, indoors and outdoors, in all kinds of weather. You will ensure student safety and that students comply with school rules. You will be required to intervene in potentially unsafe play situations and facilitate in conflict resolutions between students. You may also be required to supervise students between lunch, ensuring appropriate behaviour and completion of teacher assigned work.

This job requires you to walk and stand for the duration of the shift. You will be required to circulate the between classes, indoors, and outdoors, and remain alert at all times.  

 Qualifications: 

• Experience working with children in large groups
• Good communication skills
• Excellent conflict resolution skills
• Ability to work both indoors and outdoors in all weather
• Must be fluent in English
• Ability to speak Mandarin is an asset
