Red Apple Learning Paradise (non-profit) is currently recruiting qualified Cantonese or Mandarin teachers to teach Chinese at basic elementary levels for after school Chinese classes from 3:30 p.m. – 6:00 p.m..

Our staffs and teachers are self-motivated, kind-hearted and enthusiastic individuals who share a sincere passion for Chinese education.

 Qualification Requirements

• Fluent in Cantonese or Mandarin with basic English communication skill
• Possess University Level or professional teacher certificate
• Work experience in teaching Chinese is strongly desired
• Possess a strong sense of responsibility and teamwork
• Ability to provide a well-balanced, supportive, and interesting learning environment for students at different levels
• Demonstrate good classroom management skills, communication skills, and interpersonal skills with students, parents and staffs
• Proficient in Microsoft Word
• Ability to work between the hours of 3:30 p.m. – 6:00 p.m. on weekdays in Vancouver elementary school locations

 Job Description

• Teaching Chinese languages to students of kindergarten and elementary levels.
• Preparing teaching aids/materials for motivating students in Chinese language learning.
• Communicating with students and parents in fostering the Chinese learning.
• Providing good class management and safe learning environment to students.

Location :   Vancouver elementary school sites.

Job Type:   Two hours teaching per school site on weekdays.

Subsidy Fee:   $19 - $25 per hour.
