No, HomeBase is not currently supported. Solo IndoorCam is a standalone product which connects to the user's home Wi-Fi network.

All my cameras work perfectly now - thanks to customer service for helping me troubleshoot (goes to show how they stand by their products and their consumers). All are connected via Homekit Secure Video. As always, excellent customer service. I would love to get my hands on the Eufy outdoor cam eventually to complete my setup but out of my budget as of now.

Customer service is 5/5 easily. They put on efforts in resolving the issues this camera has.

It just came to a point where all I want for my home security(that connects to HKSV) is a RELIABLE connection that doesn’t disconnect every now and then. It hasn’t been the case for all 3 of my Eufy indoor cams, unfortunately.

I would suspect that it’s my router but no other electronics I have connected to my router has connectivity issues like these cams.

Again, camera is disconnected - a different one this time. I know for a fact it’s not my router coz this is the only one that disconnects. The unreliability is just getting really worse. I thought it’s a software thing and was fixed with their update recently but I was wrong.

Update (December 10, 2020)
For the first time since the update, it lost connection again. Just 1 of the 3 cameras I have. All 3 have the same firmware and network.

Will continue to monitor but I’m getting discouraged with its unreliability. If they keep disconnecting, might have to just take them all down.

Customer service is 5/5 so far but product just hasn’t been that reliable for me and it’s unfortunate. (refer to my older reviews to understand)

Customer service is 5/5!!!! I was not expecting them to reach out to me after writing a review but they did. Offering a replacement camera and as well as sending me a new firmware update to fix the issue.

So far it has been good; the firmware. It hasn’t disconnected yet.

Will continue to update when something comes up.

It’s been disconnecting far more often the last couple of weeks. Which is very inconvenient. This shouldn’t happen regardless of the internet (i have a gigabit internet and a wifi 6 router). Over time, this camera just keeps getting worse connectivity wise.

Update (November 2, 2020)
Summary for anyone who intends to use this camera via Homekit:

1. You still need to download the Eufy app to set it up for the first time and to port it to Homekit. Once it’s in homekit, you can “Turn Off” the camera in the Eufy app (not “remove camera”), then delete the Eufy app if you want to.
2. Homekit only allows 1080P resolution. I believe this is Homekit’s issue.
3. Homekit still has its own motion detection feature (but needs to be kept on in the Eufy app settings 🤷🏽‍♂️).
4. Homekit has its own facial recognition
5. Homekit doesn’t allow you to have a “talk” button even if this camera has a two way audio feature. I believe this is Eufy’s issue.
6. No continuous recording for Homekit.
7. No sound detection for Homekit.

BADLY needs a firmware update from both Eufy and Homekit.

If you buy this camera without the intention of using through Homekit - it is a perfect 5/5.

Otherwise, prepare to lose a lot of its features when using via Homekit.

This review is for the Eufy 2K indoor cam used with iOS app. I have this camera mounted in a sheltered location outdoors at my front door (accepting that this may void any warranty) . The camera comes compactly and attractively packaged. Include instructions are limited to set up and mounting but a link in the app provides help on the interface and settings. The app is very good and well designed and can be portrait or landscape. 2K resolution is excellent both live and playback. I used a Kingston 128GB class 10 flash card which is formatted by the camera for encryption. My first 24hrs of recording in 2K has used about 7GB so expect over two weeks of storage. If the camera is shared with another party it must be done by invitation and the sharee must set up their own user name/password. If a user name is used on an iOS device which is not already using that user name a nag will pop up each time the app is opened by the original user. Fingerprint id can be used for logon. Detection settings are any combination of person, pet or motion. Recognition is done onboard the camera so notifications are fast and can include a thumbnail. The detection zone is set using six points therefore can be any shape. Multiple detection zones are permitted.
The camera is Apple HomeKit compatible but with HomeKit there are advantages and disadvantages. First the cons; only supports 1080P to stream in Home or native app, onboard AI, sound detection and pet command are disabled, Home app will not access SD card. Home will not record to iCloud 24/7 only clips triggered by motion are recorded. Custom detection area is not possible. For one camera a 200GB iCloud subscription is required, for up to the maximum of 5 cameras a 2TB subscription so $3.99 or $12.99 per month plus tax. Now the pros; Apple post processing AI may be better depending on needs. The replay timeline of clips triggered by motion show icons for person and pet detection. In iOS 14 (now in beta) known persons can be individually identified by name i.e. facial recognition with custom labels. SD card becomes unnecessary and all video is encrypted by your personal Apple device. Picture in picture keeps view on top of open apps.
Google integration is working but only streams for about five minutes to smart display.

This review is for the Eufy 2K indoor cam used with iOS app. I have this camera mounted in a sheltered location outdoors at my front door (accepting that this may void any warranty) . The camera comes compactly and attractively packaged. Include instructions are limited to set up and mounting but a link in the app provides help on the interface and settings. INCREDIBLE - For the price because - NO MONTHLY SUBSCRIPTION FOR STORAGE!

INCREDIBLE - if you have never bought a remote camera. Learn on this one before you buy a more expensive one. There is so much to learn in the app as far as setting sensitivity, storage, playback, view field... there are a ton of options to customize the experience. The default is fine too - but if you're getting a million alerts every time a car drives past, or a tree branch moves in the wind - you will want to use settings to ignore those detections and set your detection to just the door or porch.

Simple camera - doesn't remotely rotate - has night vision and plugs into USB (included)

Sure, you need to sign into the app, it's a little clunky, there's a learning curve, playback doesn't always seem to work, events don't always record, I've had one just stop working over time.

HOWEVER - I've tried other more expensive brands and they are about the same. I've bought a different brand in-store from Best Buy to watch the dogs - DISASTER.

WORSE - Almost every other brand tricks you into needing a Monthly Subscription or Google Storage - someplace to store the footage for playback.

This Eufy Camera stores/retrieves the information directly onto/from the SD card (sold seperately - another pain) - But again - the cost savings of not paying $ monthly subscription is obvious and makes this camera my Go-To camera for keeping an eye on my basement and attic for any intruders or critters. Bought them for my mom for her house.

I even used it once to direct a friend to find a folder in a box in my attic by directing him through the live camera/microphone "Go left... it may be under that blue bag... try that yellow container - there it is!"

The camera in my basement at my mountain cabin for 3 years suffers extreme temperatures... keeps on ticking! It's awesome. Live view anytime and trigger alerts when it detects something moving.
