    I use the "J" shape catchers on the top part most often. The long side is super short so I have to carefully lower in and double check both sides before letting the bar go. If the long side was a bit taller then it would be easier to feel the edge and drop it in right away.

I also briefly used the rack for 70 Kg weight discs with occasional dropping of the bar bell on the support arms with no issues. I also find the support really good when there was an issue with one of the plastic inserts (cracked) upon arrival where they promptly sent a replacement . I have been using it for 3 months now with no issues.

I always enjoy companies that provide top support for their products, and this company did just that. Have been using this rack for a few days and love it, fits well in my garage, and it does fit a 5ft barbell. The picture I attached shows just that. I don't have enough room for my Olympic barbell, so bought a CAP 5FT barbell from Amazon that fits just fine. The rack also allows you to adjust if the fit is a bit tight. Overall great product and would highly recommend to others!

    the unit is very solid for the price. i would feel safe with 350 to 400 lbs on the rack. pretty easy to put together and the tools are included. i put 2 45 lb plates on the pegs in the back and the rack does not move at all. the only slight negative is there are no safety arms so lifting smart is advised.
